APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES: MASTER OF SCIENCE (MSc) DEGREE PROGRAMMES FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Master of Science (MSc) Degree Programmes of the various faculties/institutes of the University.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Master of Science (MSc) Degree Programmes
  1. 1. A Minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division) degree from a recognised University is eligible for admission. In addition, candidates with HND with minimum of Lower Credit plus PGD in relevant areas can also apply.
  2. 2. In all cases of admission, the final decision on qualified candidates rests with the Board of the College of Postgraduate Studies. .
  3. 3. All MSc Degree Programmes require coursework components in addition to research work. This is in addition to clinical postings, field reports or case studies, as may apply to respective programmes. There is no exemption. A Thesis must be defended before an external examiner and submitted for a student to qualify and graduate.
DURATION OF PROGRAMMES

The MSc Degree programmes are expected to last for a minimum of 12 calendar months (full-time).



METHOD OF APPLICATION
  • Prospective applicants should first review the available courses and requirements via the prospectus before making any payments.
  • Candidates should log on to our website: dufuhspg.kdums.edu.ng to access the complete description of available courses.
  • Next, visit https://dufuhspg.kdums.edu.ng/admissions and complete the pre-application form to generate an application bill for payment.
  • Candidates may then select any of the available payment options on the console, such as Bank Payment, ATM Card, Bank Transfer, or USSD.
  • For candidates using the walk-in bank option, a non-refundable fee of ₦10,000.00 is payable at any bank branch nationwide via the REMITA PLATFORM, using the application bill generated, for the Postgraduate School Application Form for the 2025/2026 academic session.
  • Alternatively, candidates may Click here to buy the Admission Form online using an ATM card, Bank Transfer, or USSD.
  • A printout with a unique PIN will be issued at the bank and after the Successful Online payment
  • Go online to https://dufuhspg.kdums.edu.ng/admissions
  • Candidates will then enter their unique PIN and their mobile phone numbers on https://dufuhspg.kdums.edu.ng/admissions to access the form.
  • Follow the steps by providing your data as prompted and ensure that your form is submitted.
  • YOU ARE TO PRINT OUT A COPY OF YOUR FORM, BY CLICKING ON PRINT button after submission.
  • Please bring a copy of the printed form to the venue on the day of the screening.

All MSc degree candidates must forward official transcript of their previous degrees or PGD to;

Other Infomation (Method of Application):

1.    Official transcripts could also be sent through our email (registrar@dufuhs.edu.ng). In addition, candidates must upload their concept notes (2-3 pages) in line with their research interests alongside their applications.

2.    It is the responsibility of each candidate to ensure that the online referee reports are duly filled and submitted by the respective referees before the closing date. (Minimum of two (2) referees must be submitted online). In addition, the referees can also

Prospective candidates should be aware that the fee schedule ranges from ₦660,000 to ₦910,000, depending on the programme.
This fee schedule covers application, acceptance, tuition, thesis defence and convocation fees.
It is instructive to state that candidates who are not ready to complete the programme within the stipulated twelve (12) calendar months may not need to apply.


DEADLINE:

The deadline for the submission of completed Application Forms is Thursday December 18, 2025 Mid-Night .
